From an early age, Josh McCarn knew he wanted to be an architect, a dream that began in second grade. As he explored colleges, he discovered landscape architecture, a field that perfectly blended his passion for construction, technology, and engineering with his love of the outdoors and minimalist art.
With a natural drive to unravel the inner workings of things, Josh is a problem-solving enthusiast and firm believer in the power of collaboration. Combining his years of hands-on experience in construction, project management, and horticulture with a solid foundation in site design, natural systems, and development planning, he is equipped to take on a diverse array of project types and sizes. Be it an intimate, private garden, a regional mixed-use activity center, or anything in between, he prides himself on crafting places where design meets functionality and beauty intertwines with purpose.
Josh is a Licensed Landscape Architect in Colorado and Wyoming and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!
When he's off the clock, Josh can generally be found outdoors or plotting ways to get outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowboarding, and live music are just a few of the activities that he enjoys with his lovely wife and their twin children.
