A crowd gathered outside the Berthoud Fire Protection District Station 1 Saturday morning, looking at something many thought wouldn’t happen. But through the work of Berthoud’s Caretakers of Tradition and the generosity of the Northern Colorado community, the Berthoud Fire Museum finally opened its doors.

The University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design and then completed the Master of Architecture degree at The University of Colorado Denver. He was mentored and guided through the internship process by architect, John Freeman while working at Freeman Architects in Loveland. While at Freeman, he gained years of experience in both residential and commercial architecture projects of varying size and complexity. David completed the Architectural Registration Examinations in 2017 to become a licensed architect and NCARB (National Council for Architectural Registration Boards) certificate holder. David has also completed the LEED AP BD+C (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction) process.
